The Wisk Cora is an autonomous full-electric VTOL aircraft prototype designed to act as an aerial taxi. It has a limited vertical flight capability for take-off and landing, and operates as a conventional aeroplane in horizontal flight. Unlike a helicopter, the Cora cannot maintain a sustained hover with current battery and motor technology. It is still in the developmental stage with a possible trial in New Zealand on the cards.
